The verb of this word stands for poke or punch according to Merriam-Webster dictionary definition. I know someone is wondering what’s up with this topic. Yeah, I have been pondering on this word for a while now, not necessarily pinprick but rather frustrated.
Have you ever been in a situation where you are doing your best, trying all you can to fit in to a certain culture so you feel welcomed but at some point you just get frustrated that it’s not just working to your favour. It can be rather heart aching. You probably have been trying for a while now to fit in to a certain circle, a group of persons to gain security coz you feel insecure about yourself.
Well yes, I have been in situations where I suddenly desire to just stop being a Christian, yes the thought comes. It’s the honest truth. But why…? You may ask…! Sometimes the pressure of the world gets so strong, that you really ask yourself why do I feel different. What do I have that others don’t and vice versa.
The truth is you have something unique, you carry something within you that no else has. The people you maybe envying may equally be envying you for that uniqueness. But you will not see it why coz you are ALONE.
Trust me it’s hard to be alone, it’s difficult being lonely. Lonely not having people around you, lonely not having a flock of friends and fans. Yes so “LONELY”
The truth is when you walk with God you will feel isolated and anytime you try to fill that gap to fit into another circle, you will feel frustrated. I don’t know about you, but I have felt that way countless times.
Well, I’m here to remind you that sometimes you become stronger when you are able accept to walk alone with God.
You don’t have to function at people’s instability of their emotions.
