This might feel or sound like a prophetic declaration. But it isn’t. It is just what it is. The truth is many at times we fail to realize or recognize who we are in Christ. We fail to realize that we are created in God’s image, we fail to really understand what all these means and it keeps us in the dark exactly where the devil wants us to be, but we shouldn’t and mustn’t let that happen. Let me show you something striking, Genesis 2:7 says “And the Lord God formed Man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” So you see it.Not my words.
However if you take a look at this scripture Psalms 103:14 which says “For He knowers our frame; he remembers that we are dust.” Ouch 😓 To think we will all still return to the dust and we right now are so conscious of all we have to achieve here on earth, vividly forgetting who we truly are.Genesis 1:27 “so God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created male and female” Reminds you; In case you forgot who you are.
Just a reminder that man was created to be a winner. Now we know how we were created. Some scientists say we originated from apes 🦧…😒 Well the Bible states it clearly as explained earlier, and after creation, he tells man, have dominion over everything that creeps,fly,crawls,and even breathes here on earth.
But it’s rather unfortunate that man didn’t know what he would loose after his fall as a result of his disobedience towards God. He didn’t know what being a failure felt like until he was forced to accept failure as his lot in life, thereby lowering himself to a subordinate position— a position he was never meant to occupy…😔how tragic. But I’ve got great news for you, if you are a child of God, a born again in him. Then your story has a happy ending💃🏻”yay” that through faith in God you’ve been made a winner once again. In fact God has guaranteed your success. It doesn’t matter how much you feel like a loser. It doesn’t matter how many times you’ve failed in the past. If you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and you embrace the fact that you are created in his image then you’ve become more than a conqueror in Him. Romans 8:37 “In all things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”
That’s it. If you’ve been feeling like a failure lately like myself, it’s high time you renew your mind to the Word of God as I did. Remind the devil that you were created in God’s image and therefore you are a winner, it may not feel like it at first, you may fall a thousand times, fail more than you expect, but keep trusting God in Faith, and as his words abide in your heart, it will make a winner out of you.
